Frank Fanger25 Years of Volunteer Service
For the past 25 years, Frank Fanger has poured his heart into serving the poor and marginalized people in Tijuana. He gained years of experience by leading groups of students from Bellarmine College Preparatory to build simple yet dignified homes for families in need of a shelter. Frank joined forces with the Tijuana Ministry program in 2009, and has served as a trusted construction leader each summer. Frank says that this time building houses is his therapy. "After a week in Tijuana, I don't need a shrink (therapist) for the whole year. The man upstairs is my project manager. Using my gifts in service of others is what gives me a sense of true happiness.
