BASICS Tijuana Ministry is helping Casa de Clara Catholic Worker, a Shelter for unhoused women and children, to open back up after its Covid closure.
Saturday’s project is Landscaping! Lead by our beloved Mimi Bimi. Come meet us at 10am and help for a few hours to weed, rake, trim, and maybe do some replanting. Let us know if you can help by emailing us at tjmissions@gmail.com
Bring tools and gloves if you have them. We are also repairing the kitchen and updating the bathroom and painting, but that will be another day. We are waiting for the plumber, counter, and shower parts. Stay tuned for those work days.
318 N. Sixth St. in San Jose.
**Do not park in the grocery store parking lot across the street. They tow!
You can donate for supplies by mailing a check to the Casa de Clara Catholic Worker at the above address or go to their website at sjcw.org
